The 'ultimate emblem of the Maison Caran d'Ache', the 849 ballpoint is a coolly understated design classic. This retractable ballpoint with its slim aluminium barrel is regularly reinvented by Caran d'Ache in the form of special and limited editions. These two are complementary designs.

Both feature a satin finish, stamped with the Caran d'Ache branding and 'limited edition'. The purple pen has yellow stamping while the yellow version has purple stamping.
